Credit Repair

I have been following the DebtClear Roadmap for a few months now. When should I start credit repair?
The earliest we recommend you starting credit repair is after your account gets charged-off—usually after 180 days of non-payment. The only downside to beginning credit repair this early is that the account is being actively reported so that if you were successful in removing a negative entry, it might get re-reported and re-inserted. After 18 months or so, it is more likely that a negative you are successful in removing will stay off your report permanently.
Can judgments be removed from credit reports?
Any kind of tradeline can be removed from credit reports. In fact, judgments are a bit easier to remove because the courts, unlike creditors, don't have a financial incentive to report and verify information. Judgments, therefore, are probably the easiest type of negative to remove from your credit file.
How long will my credit report be affected if I follow the DebtClear Roadmap?
Charge-offs and collection accounts can remain on your credit report for up to 7 years. However, if you employ the techniques described in the Credit Repair section of the website, you can expect most if not all of your negative entries to be removed much more quickly than this.
Is there any kind of unsecured debt that the DebtClear Roadmap will not work on?

It may work on some mede DebtClear Roadmap is designed to work specifically on personal unsecured debt—credit cards, store cards, lines of credit and signature loans. It may work on some medical debt and deficiency debts (debt left over after repossession). It is not designed to work on business debt, tax liabilities, or government secured student loans.
Will the DebtClear Roadmap ruin my credit?
Yes, but so will many other debt relief programs. Remember, you can always build you credit back up and unless you are planning a major purchase (car or a home) in the near future, a lowered score probably won't have much of an effect. What if there is something on my credit report that isn't mine?
These are the easiest type of entry to have removed from your report. You will have to initiate a dispute with the credit bureau(s) and formally ask them to remove the incorrect tradeline.
If I get a negative removed from one credit bureau (Experian) will it also be removed from the other two (TransUnion and Exquifax)?
No, each bureau reports and conducts investigations independent of one another. However, you can use discrepancies between your reports as the basis for a dispute.
